A new polyurethane for fast production of durable, polypropylene-like parts was introduced by Innovative Polymers at RAPID 2009. RC-255 polyurethane features a 70-second work life, attains rapid green strength, can be demolded in less than 30 minutes. The cured system exhibits a heat deflection temperature of 230ºF (110ºC) and a flexural modulus of 300,000 psi.
