Shore A Elastomers Print E-mail

A versatile family of hand-castable polyurethanes, Innovative Polymers Shore A Elastomers are formulated for hand-casting of flexible prototypes and parts.  Several of the products are also suitable for mass casting

.  Among the typical applications for IE-series polyurethanes are:

Products in the Shore A Elastomers line are low-viscosity materials with gel times ranging from 10 to 30 minutes.  After curing, parts cast from the polyurethanes exhibit good tear strength of up to 215 pli and elongation as high as 520%.  The materials can be color matched to virtually any specification.

ALL NEW additions to the Elastomer family are Innovative Polymers IE-9000 Shore A polyurethanes that feature ultra-high elongation for casting long-lasting molds and TD 175-11 long gel time, low-shrink polyurethane for large mass castings..
